The radiators are old and heavy, they have four legs that sit on the floor… I understand how to cut around the pipe and install a pipe collar… but I don’t know what I am supposed to do about the legs of the radiator… (I’ve heard that lifting the radiator is an option but I’m worried about damaging the pipes and/or the flooring) please only comment if you are a professional or have experience doing this… I’ve installed laminate flooring before but never around radiators…

My house has old hardwood floors. Most of the living room and dinning room floors are covered with large area rugs. We want to take the old rugs out but there is a dirt line that is left around the perimeter of where the rugs were. Under the rugs the wood is nice and pretty still.
